About

I live and work in the South Thompson Valley in the southern interior of British Columbia.  Most days I go to work at Thompson Rivers University where I lecture  on plant ecology and evolution.  When I’m not at work, I’m often outside drawing and musing about the botanical (and other) bits of this natural world.   Here are excerpts from my journals— most often notes (written and visual) of the botanical phenomenon that I can see and  draw in the watershed of the Thompson River.
